Scaling a recipe to a real prep size, without touching the recipe itself.
Enter a target volume or weight — 1L, 5L, 10L, or any custom amount in ml, L, g, or kg — and every ingredient in the recipe scales proportionally. Each one shows both ml and grams, since weighing is more accurate than pouring for consistency across batches.
Sometimes you're not batching to a round number — you're working backwards from whatever's left of one ingredient. Pick which ingredient you have and how much of it, and every other ingredient in the batch scales off that ratio instead.
Once you've got the scaled amounts, Copy prep list puts a plain-text version on your clipboard — ready to paste anywhere, or just read straight off your phone at the workstation.
The Batch Multiplier works identically on recipes and on house-made ingredients (syrups, cordials) — so scaling up a batch of cordial to restock works exactly the same way as scaling a cocktail.
This is a calculator, not an edit — running it never changes the recipe's actual spec. It only tells you how much of each ingredient to use right now.
